Gloria Jeans Narrabeen  THREATENED The night manager of this cafe threatened to smash my brothers teeth in, simply because we questioned him why he shut half an hour early on a regular basisi, the store manager and owner have not done a thing about it as this man is still working there. They cannot seem to even acknowledge the situation with a return phone call. Do you want to go buy your coffee from someplace where there is a chance you might get your teeth smashed in by a staff member??? |

Plato's Pathetic Service! I do not recommend this Cafe at all. The service is pathetic. The staff are rude and unattentive. I ordered a simple turkish bread with butter and vegemite but didn't get it until at least 10mins later, after all those behind me had received their orders. The lady staff who took my order apparently forgot about my order when i was standing right in front of her the entire time. My turkish bread was so flat and hard by the time she got to it, that it tastes and feels like a hard rock! |

Spring Espresso Consistently great Only drop in occasionally but have never had anything less thna a great cup of coffee! Now the food is another story! I guess they are just concentrating on the coffee... |

The Spot wonderful staff are more than polite, always smiling and welcoming. The coffee is fab, always great - never had a burnt one. Food is always fresh and I like the way that you can see the food being prepared. |

Swell Coffee Coffee Scenesters? or Mormons and Caffeine Don't Mix Good coffee, quiet location and cute staff. Perhaps the detractors are too frightened to say anything's worthwhile for fear of coming off uninitiated. Do you really want the owner of the cafe buzzing over you and grinning idiotically? So the guy doesn't greet people like a Mormon at the airport. Who gives a ****? The Red Till Great coffee and atmosphere Red Till is a hidden gem tucked around the corner of the Great Ocean Rd, where drivers rapidly accelerate up the hill on their way to Lorne. Friday nights are brilliant for live music, the food (mostly tapas style servings with some more substantial) is excellent and the coffee is some of the best on the Great Ocean Rd. A good selection of wines and beer is also available. |
