petty glorified coffee longue

The coffee is as pretencious as the employees who serve it.They reuse old coffee grounds. They used me for trial shifts, fired me and moved on. I've spent 4 years serving coffee and never been dismissed like that.the view was the only good memory of that place.

Simply beautiful

I dont believe that their are bad reviews about this cafe, maybe these people don't know what good coffee tastes like? I had a Double Macchiato from Diggies and it still rates as one of the best coffees i have ever had. I'm a Barista myself and DiLorenzo is in the Top 3 in Australia if not the best! The View doesn't hurt either! Fantastic cafe!

Coffee let down

Great venue, with average brekie menue. the coffee was a real let down as it was weak in body and lacked any real distinct characteristics( we both had piccolo lates) perhaps they should look at the many other great local roasters around instead od chosing one that will offer more in the package ie freebies

Just wanted Hot Chocalate

After tasting the coffee I needed a hot chocalate or water to wash the taste away.

Diggies

Great venue, food and coffee. Nothing else like it in Wollongong. I can't understand why there were negative comments written about the coffee and food. Obviously the person who wrote the negative report doesn't truly know what a good coffee is or was having an OFF day with their taste buds.

Great Coffee - great for kids

I love Diggies. I am a new mum and need a good coffee to help me get through the day - Diggies definitely has that. I have at least one every day.
it's sometimes hard to find cafes that are stroller and kid friendly but the staff at Diggies are always helpful and accommodating. They always make me (and all the other mothers I go with) feel welcome.
Thanks!

Stunning

I came from Italy few months ago and as Italian I was concerned about coffee.
I am still visiting all the beautiful places around Sydney, they never end .
Few days ago, during my trip to Wollongong, I had a coffee in Diggies. The location is really stunning and I tell you what… the coffee was even better. For the first time ever I had two coffees in a row. My girlfriend arrived last week to join the Australian holiday. Yesterday we went to Wollongong and I brought her to Diggies again. Well she didn’t stop talking about that place and their coffee.
