Breakfast at the Rocks

I am hard to please. But I am fair when it comes to writing reviews on any Cafe. I would rather pay a little extra to receive service that is up to my standards. The breakfast at the rocks, Swagmans Post Courtyard Cafe made my morning and the rest of my day. Thanks to Jenny who served me my wonderful hot bacon and eggs. I actually ordered a third coffee once I realized how good not only the coffee was, but the service to boot.

This is a lovely little cafe with nice food and friendly staff. However, whilst we were inside paying, the manager started shouting at one of the waitresses directly in front of us. When the guy serving us saw me raising my eyebrows to my fiance, he started trying to have an argument with us!
I would think that a quiet word at the end of her shift would have been a more professional way to handle this.
This is a lovely place, but I won't support somewhere where the staff are bullied rather than managed (and in front of customers too!).

great coffee (primo fair tradeorganic), the best inhouse made muffins you will ever eat I always make an effort to pop in when passing by. Staff are also always friendly & welcoming.

Location! Location! Location!

Swagman's Post Courtyard Cafe is nestled amongst sweet terrace houses
originally built in the 1900's. The cafe may look small from the outside
but there is a massive courtyard at the back with shaded tables where
you can really sit back, enjoy the atmosphere and feel the history. It's
also very conveniently located if you happen to be browsing around at
the Rocks Markets, boutique shops or galleries.

There is an All Day breakfast menu with lunch starting at 11am. The
service is so friendly even the chefs say hello when you pass through
into the courtyard. Table service in both the front and back section
ensures you are well look after every minute.
The food is fantastic and good value considering its location. The
coffee is consistent with a nice mix of coffee, milk and froth. The
crema has a smooth creamy texture that you would expect from a great
flat white. The clinking of cutlery, animated chatter and soft laughter
complete the scene.
