![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Excellent roast and plenty of choice!! I've been garage-roasting for over 5 years now, based on the fact that there's too much rubbish being served in many a cafe' out there. After moving up here (from Melbourne) 3 years ago, I got a rude shock. It seems like people here don't know the difference between coffee and burnt toast. Not surprising considering that people are used to the big 4 Brands up here (you know who they are), and they've pretty much cornered the market. Quest Roasters revived my enthusiasm, by providing excellent coffee, smiling faces, great customer service and sweet beans to go. They roast some of the best bean I've seen, and have the customer base to prove it. No matter how often I visit, the coffee is excellent, with great crema, smooth hit on the tongue and no lingering burnt-acid aftertaste. Average is CITY to CITY+ roast with roasting almost never reaching full second crack. The beans are a great colour and never sweaty. Highly recommended, even if you have to drive 100km, you WON'T be disappointed! |
