Fabulous!! This is by far one of the best restaurant's I vistied during my two wek holiday to Melbourne. The 2 course meal for $27 per person is the best value for money I came across - great price without comprimising on the quality of the food. The service was impeccable with the staff being genuinely interested in the well being of their patrons. My advice - save room for the Chocolate Pudding, it truly is to die for. Needless to say I went back 5 times during my stay in Melbourne. |

misleading This cafe has $27 dollars meal on weekday nights. The service attendant misled us by telling us that an additional main course on top of the meal will costs us $31 dollars. We double confirm with him to make sure our bill will be a total of $31 dollars, and the waiter said 'yes'. We were shocked when the bill came, it was $27 + $31. We're upset by the unscrupulous Cafe Max and the unhelpful of the cafe's person-in-attend who turned back and told us that's was our fault for not read the menu thoroughly. |
