Pony Express O Garrett does the best! Finally there's a great little coffee spot in West Perth. And all they do is coffee ... really good coffee! It's down a lane behind Joe's Kitchen (on Hay Street halfway between Colin and Outram). It is definitely one of Perth's best kept secrets. Garrett, the owner, has only been in operation for a couple of months and already has a dedicated band of followers. And he's no doubt going to have a lot more if he keeps up his fine form behind the coffee machine. There's a large table in the heart of the old stables building, and a couple of stools along a bench ... small, stylish but casual. A great setting but more importantly, fab coffee! |

Epic Espresso Not as good as it used to be.... I used to go to Epic everyday - i was a regular. However, since Epic changed hands i have noticed a steady decline in the quality of the coffee. I am happy to pay $4.70 for a great coffee, but not for average coffee. The coffee is so average now that i have stopped going, and i know many others that have stopped going also. It is a shame, as it was the best coffee in Perth. |

868 Gourmet THE BEST um to 'lina' (olgalina) below, 868 actually have all of those foods plus so much more. after getting rid of that dirty cook and half owner gino they had that brought that business down 868 is better then ever, food, atmosphere, staff and customers are much more happier. i reccommend this place to everyone! |

Spring Espresso Consistently great Only drop in occasionally but have never had anything less thna a great cup of coffee! Now the food is another story! I guess they are just concentrating on the coffee... |

Cafe 54 It's the best! Love the coffee and don't like going anywhere else to get it!! Don't forget the delicious scones, muffins and banana bread. Yummy!! |

Epic Espresso Good But Not Great Epic are good, but not as good as they think they are. Unfortunately they have increased their production line and output (to keep up with demand) and the quality has suffered as a result. I was there on opening day when it was good, but I've been dissapointed for the past year working in West Perth. Agreed they are the best in West Perth, but nowhere near as good as the handful of specialists around King Street in the CBD. Better to try one of the smaller coffee shops in the CBD or Subiaco where the customers are prepared to wait for a better product. |

Cafe 54 Best in town!!! These guys have the best coffee ever. It not only tastes great it looks fantastic. Not only is the coffee good but the food is fantastic. Portions are generous, quality superior and prices affordable. I eat there every day! |
